NASA's Climatologists Now Against Anthropogenic Global Warming

If we really listen to climatologists, instead of ex-politicians parading as celebrities, we will see more and more scientists speaking out about the fallacy of CO2 and the failed climate models used to predict dire consequences.

Instead, these climatologists point to cooling global temperatures and a slowing of the "dramatic rise" of ocean levels. In fact, more climate scientists signed on as anthropogenic global warming skeptics than those authors supporting the IPCC report.

It looks more and more like the debate about global warming, far from being over, is just now starting to get going.

See also this article detailing dissent from the IPCC models used to predict global warming.

Best Anthropogenic Global Warming Debunking Article Yet

Check out this article on why anthropogenic global warming is a fallacy. Like me, the author asserts that temperature has changed and will continue to change. In Mr. Ambler's words, "So, no one needs to say the words "climate" and "change" in the same breath -- it is assumed, by anyone with any level of knowledge, that climate changes." Proof of this is seen in the Vostok ice core data, where cyclical patterns of temperature change are obvious.

And so, the all important answer the question, "If not carbon dioxide, what does "drive" climate?" The article points to a short term answer (ocean cycles) and a long term answer, the Sun. This will surprise no one who really studied the global warming issue in depth.

And why do I continue to rail against this fake crisis of anthropogenic global warming? Because there are so many other things we can focus on. I will let Mr. Ambler provide the best reason.

"To be told, as I have been, by Mr. Gore, again and again, that carbon dioxide is a grave threat to humankind is not just annoying, by the way, although it is that! To re-tool our economies in an effort to suppress carbon dioxide and its imaginary effect on climate, when other, graver problems exist is, simply put, wrong." (emphasis in the original)

Real Energy Independence

OPEC has decided they're not making enough money right now. So, to help bolster their bottom line and line their pockets with everyone's money, they've decided they need to cut production.

OPEC certainly understands the power of supply and demand. They know that if they limit supply, they can control the costs because of the rising demand. This will happen even as the economies of the world take a hit. the sad thing is raising oil prices will only serve to slow future economic growth because it will increase the costs of other goods and services. The OPEC nations don't care about these global repercussions one bit, though. They are simply interested in earning money for themselves.

The solution is simple, we need real energy independence. This means we need to focus on developing short term solutions for high energy prices (drill for more oil, open more refineries, more use of natural gas), as well as develop mid term (nuclear power, wind power, more bio-fuels) and long term (increased solar, tidal and geothermal power) energy solutions for our country.

This is the realistic solution that allows us to really move away from foreign oil and their major impact on our economy.
